Focusing in on our 2022 Caregiver Experience Priorities

Last month, IS & RESO EVP/CIO B.J. Moore met with our Caregiver Experience Committee sponsors to talk about the action planning underway to support a great workplace and career experience for our IS & RESO teams.

IS & RESO-wide priorities that emerged from our 2021 Caregiver Experience Survey:

  • Re-committing to our Promise of Know Me, Care for Me, Ease My Way in how we deliver our Strategic Plan in 2022 and kicking off a workgroup focused on this by mid-year
  • Invest in caregiver retention, with a workgroup specifically tasked with addressing burnout and workload
  • Supporting our caregivers’ connections to senior leadership with programs like our Fireside Chat series of my interviews with Providence system executives and Journeys in Leadership, where we get to hear the career paths and personal philosophies of leaders with IS & RESO
  • Strengthening our alignment with Mission, building on the strong partnership we have with Sister Susanne’s Mission Integration team, our Mission Ambassadors Program, our VIA Awards, etc.

Additionally, Caregiver Experience Committee members across IS & RESO are working on action planning to address the specific opportunities to improve the workplace experience on individual teams.
