February’s IS Mission focus is all about recognizing and appreciating the contributions of IS caregivers – helping each other and helping our caregivers and communities. Below we share some of our “Because iCARE”-themed efforts for the month.
Recognition breakfasts
Look for fliers at your location announcing details for light breakfasts we’ll be providing IS caregivers throughout the month of February to share how much we appreciate each other and remind our staff to recognize their fellow caregivers. IS COAC representatives in your area will have more information.
Enhancements to the iCARE program
As we’ve shared at several town halls in prior IS Updates, the IS iCARE program tracks the kudos our caregivers receive via SuccessFactors. Now that the platform is available to caregivers of legacy St. Joseph Health, the IS Caregiver Engagement Committee (CEC) is revamping the program to create several new recognition tiers that extend our ability to appreciate caregivers who have exceeded our previously-established tier levels.
Let’s continue to cultivate the habit of being grateful for the good things that come to us and to give thanks continuously to the people in our lives who know us, care for us and ease our way.
Resources
We shared this article with a one-pager to help our SJH caregivers navigate giving recognition in SuccessFactors, but it’s a good refresher for all of us.
