Great having so many across IS & RESO teams join our Open Forum yesterday—over 2,000 of us.
Open Forum was a reminder to me of why we can feel so confident about IS & RESO, as well as the long-term strength of Providence and our Mission.
Whether it’s the progress and investments teams across IS have made in addressing Caregiver Experience feedback… our work continuing to Simplify, Modernize, and Innovate with the updates we heard about like ReadyTECH hardware improvements, our SharePoint Online migration, or our OneTeam resources… The steadfastness which our Oregon RESO team showed in responding to wildfires… And our new group of Year Up interns starting roles across IS… I see so much tremendous progress and so many reasons to believe in a bright future in the midst of this challenging year.
Our President & CEO, Rod Hochman, M.D., shared a similar sentiment in a memo I encourage you to all check out. We can feel proud of the work Providence is doing to contribute to Health for a Better World, but also supporting our communities in times of racial disparity, political division, and natural disasters. Our Mission endures and informs our response to the times.
Congratulations again to our Q3 CFO Award Winners, who we celebrate in this edition of IS & RESO Update. I’m struck by how much collaboration is represented across our winning teams—not just within IS, but with our partners across the organization.
I hope those of you in IS saw my note yesterday encouraging us to all participate in the 2020 Caregiver Experience Survey, which started yesterday, October 7, and runs through Oct. 21. We value your feedback. My executive team and our core leadership use it to drive action plans with our Caregiver Experience Committee that improve the experience of working in our teams and at Providence.
Finally, if you joined us for Open Forum or read last month’s Update, you’ll know I’m encouraging our core leaders and teams to keep Election Day, November 3, meeting-free, where possible, to encourage voting.
In the month ahead, please Vote for Health, provide your survey feedback, and protect your health and the health of your community. Thank you for all you do in support of our Mission, day in and day out.
