September 1 IS Open Forum Recording and Upcoming Oct. 6 Event

We had over 1,700 caregivers join our Tuesday, September 1 Open Forum – our first combining IS and RESO teams.

In addition to the question address on our Open Forum Yammer group, our executive team has posted this document with answers to questions we ran out of time to address on the call.

In case you missed it, we shared the following:

  • Tracy Brown, Mission Director, thanked everyone for their generosity during the IS Summer Social Charity Raffle. A total of $11,072 was raised for Providence Regina House. Murali Krishna, SVP Providence Global Center, also shared information about the local NGO in PGC proceeds went to.
  • B.J. welcomed the Real Estate Strategy & Operations (RESO) team and its leader, SVP John Milne, M.D., who shared a bit about RESO’s scope and vision.
  • Chief Mission Integration Officer, Sister Susanne Hartung, invited IS and RESO to nominate fellow caregivers for the PSJH Values in Action Awards. The deadline to nominate via the form in Power Apps is Monday, September 7, 2020.
  • Ivette de Rubens, GVP, IS Strategy & PMO, introduced our partnership to Year Up, an organization that enables young adults to move from minimum wage to meaningful careers in just one year. IS will welcome five Year Up interns in the fall 2020 cohort.
  • Maryam Gholami, GVP product & engineering, Digital Innovation Group (DIG), invited IS caregivers to participate in the Summer Hackathon, a virtual event September 15-21, 2020.
  • Ryan Klein, VP of collaboration & program operations, shared an update on Skype decom, how we plan to transition from distribution lists to Microsoft 365 Groups, and our new caregiver discounts from Apple and Dell.

How to view the recording: You no longer need to wait for a link on Yammer or IS Update to re-watch IS Open Forums. Within an hour of a recording, you can re-watch past Open Forums.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go into the meeting invite for a past Open Forum
  2. Click into the link to the Teams live event
  3. When it pops open your browser window, click “View on the web”
  4. Click to “Join anonymously”

The recording should start playing for you immediately. (Will only work in “live events” like Open Forum.)

We’ll have our next IS Open Forum on Tuesday, October 6, 8:00-9:00 a.m. (PT), so look for an invite from B.J. Moore in the coming days.
