Celebrating IS Mission Service across Regions . . . from Young to Old

Starting with King County Mission Integration Director Tracy Brown’s feature highlighting IS caregiver service at Renton’s Mother Joseph Farm, we kicked off a series of articles that will introduce each of our new regional Mission Directors supporting IS with a reflection and a profile of IS caregivers in service for each region. In a few weeks, Sister Susanne Hartung, Chief Mission Integration Officer, will be sharing a reflection and more of this work, but in between we have many inspiring profiles of IS Mission service to share across regions.

On June 7, CIO B.J. Moore joined members of GVP Frances Chao’s Enterprise Business Applications team to help spruce up Providence Mt. Vincent in Seattle as part of their annual ERP Community Day at the Mount.

On August 12, IS caregivers in Anchorage participated in a day of Mission service supporting the packing and distribution of donated backpacks full of back-to-school supplies for area schoolchildren. The local NBC KTUU news even featured IS Strategic Partner, Executive Assistant Marni Estrada, interviewed about her passion for the cause.
