Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed your holidays with your families and friends.
On Tuesday, Jan. 7, I was excited to lead another IS Open Forum with over 1,500 of our IS family joining me and the exec team on Teams.
It was great to finally see and hear directly and in real-time from Murali Krishna, our new SVP/Country Manager of Providence Global Center in Hyderabad, India. He has been at our Renton offices over the past few days for meetings and shared an exciting status report in the run-up to our first wave of PGC hiring and the late-February launch event with members of the Hyderabad technology community and media.
It was also great to hear from Chris Briggs on our Service Experience modernization efforts and from Ryan Klein on the upcoming 2020 milestones for Modern Workplace. Both are critical drivers of our 2020 IS priority around caregiver experience and productivity.
If you didn’t have the chance to join Open Forum, I encourage you to check out the recording and the great discussions it kicked off for our Yammer Q&A. Thanks to all who engaged.
I also was honored to represent IS in several high-profile articles that we share in our “IS in the News” round-up of recent articles. I especially encourage you to check out the Catholic Health Association Health Progress article, where I share some perspectives on the challenges we’re tackling to help bring PSJH out of technical debt and some of the ways technology will help our patients, caregivers, and communities. Several senior leaders from Mission and groups less familiar with technology reached out to me to share how much it helped them appreciate the work you all are doing and start imagining the innovation of the future enabled by the simplification and modernization work we are doing today.
Let’s start the year off strong, with a focus on our priorities. I’m excited about what 2020 holds for IS and the future of healthcare at PSJH!
