Effective with all new Service Catalog requests made in ServiceNow starting the evening of Thursday, January 17, 2019, the approval reminder email timing will change to help address incorrect routing and potential cancellation of requests due to approval delays. Besides the reminder email timing changing, item cancellation will now occur only after 15 days, vs. the prior four-day window.

Complementary to the onboarding updates and resources described above, the IS Caregiver Engagement Committee has also spearheaded the creation of a New Caregiver Mentorship Program.
Designed to pair the newly-hired caregiver with a mentor on their team, the program’s goal is to inspire connection, encourage growth, and promote engagement and career satisfaction in that critical first-year timeframe.

IS Administrative & Management Services and the IS Caregiver Engagement Committee have been gathering feedback to update and optimize our new caregiver onboarding experience. This includes enhancements to our new caregiver orientation sessions within IS, as well as new documents to support core leaders in onboarding caregivers and pointing new caregivers to resources as they acclimate to IS and PSJH.

Now that the PJSH IQNavigator (IQN) vendor management tool is used by core leaders managing contingent labor (contractors) and professional/consulting services across all Shared Services functions, the IS team responsible for maintaining the platform has some critical updates to share, effective in the tool on Feb. 22, 2019.
This tool—while continuing to be referred to as IQN in many of our policies and resources—will now be branded “Beeline,” the name of IQN’s parent company.

B.J. Moore, incoming PSJH CIO, has agreed to jump on our Jan. 31 Open Forum call to share his initial thoughts in his very first week with us and answer your questions in the informal setting of our Open Forum.
Then, on Feb. 19, as we try to evangelize and dogfood our new Webex meeting tools, we’ll be moving the Open Forum after next from Lync/Skype to Webex. Our Jan. 31 Open Forum will still utilize Skype, but plan on the Feb. 19 Open Forum as a good opportunity to learn some tips and tricks, or refresh your knowledge on what Webex tools can do to jazz up our online meetings and improve our collaboration.

Following the tenant-to-tenant migration, Outlook and OneDrive are currently impaired for some St. Joseph caregivers. As a workaround for Outlook, caregivers are able to access their email via SJH OKTA.
