IS Welcomes New Leaders

When we last shared this evolved organization model for IS, we had “to be hired” leaders indicated for two of these new vertical orgs – Administrative IS functions supporting groups like HR and Finance, as well as the new Strategic Technology Enablement function supporting emergent areas of business focus for PSJH. Similarly, we had a “to be hired” leader identified for the Strategies and Project Management Office horizontal org, as well as a “developing area” indicated for leadership of our emerging work to build IS capacity in India.
We are pleased to announce to hire of three of these leaders.

Office 365 Mobile Apps Will Soon Require PIN/Biometric Authentication

We currently have about 3,500 PSJH Shared Services users accessing our Office 365 applications via mobile apps on their personal devices. Starting the week of August 12, we’ll be applying new security settings to these apps that will add another layer of authentication to better ensure the security of our personal and PSJH company data.

These new settings will require Apple iOS and Android device users to first create a four-digit PIN, which can then be replaced by the option of biometric authentication using your Apple or Android device’s fingerprint or facial recognition.

IS Mission Message from Sister Susanne

Dear IS team – I haven’t had a chance to share a mission message with IS since right after our June town hall together. At town hall, I introduced the new team reporting to me, supporting IS Mission activities and providing caregiver pastoral support for each region.

We’re going to be featuring a monthly profile of each of these new Mission Directors here in IS Update. Each Mission Director feature will introduce a region’s Mission Director, share a service project or activity undertaken recently with IS caregivers, and provide a timely reflection. Look for that series of articles to start in August, leading off with Tracy Brown, Mission Director for our King County caregivers . . .
