Reflecting on my Pilgrimage to Providence Mother House and How IS Can Lead PSJH Like the Sisters Did

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to accompany Rod Hochman, our Providence St. Joseph Health President & CEO, and other PSJH leaders, on a pilgrimage to the Providence Mother House in Montreal.

Being there and seeing archives and building plans of some our original ministries gave me a real sense of connection between our roots in Montreal to our mission today. It was also very meaningful to see, first hand, that the Sisters have been, and continue to be, an example of unwavering resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Their expression of servant leadership is also very humbling…

New Enterprise Print Group Drives Cost Reductions

CTO and TEO SVP Rick Stover recently shared a memo with regional and shared service leadership and finance officers sharing that we have created an enterprise print group within TEO’s field technical services group to identify significant cost reductions across the numerous regional vendors we use for our printing hardware and services.

A new enterprise print strategy will allow us to achieve economies of scale and best pricing and contract terms than with the current print contracts inherited from legacy organizations. It will also help us support a more caregiver-friendly experience around printing.

> Click into the article headline or graphic for details on how we’re starting the evaluation process that will lead us to an enterprise-wide strategy around printing.
