In our efforts to continually innovate and improve our overall caregiver experience, the IS Service Desk has partnered with Hyro AI to pilot an additional resource in assisting caregivers with their IS needs. The Hyro AI Chatbot uses cutting-edge technology to assist customers with finding what they need and getting their questions answered.

The OneTeam training program for our Microsoft Modern Workplace tools has expanded to include additional Office 365 applications.
New courses being launched include OneDrive, OneNote, Forms, and SharePoint. The new curriculum also includes enhanced course offerings for Teams training. Teams 100, Teams 200 and a Skype–to–Teams “crosswalk” class, are all targeted toward a caregiver’s level of experience with the application.

We are excited to introduce the new ways that we continue to improve our compute performance. This month, we have introduced a new patch cycle, retired older versions of SQL Server and Oracle databases, and modernized and secured all elements of our enterprise compute environment.

We have begun the phased transition of PSJH caregivers from using the legacy VPN clients, Cisco AnyConnect and Junos PulseSecure, to using the more modern GlobalProtect solution. This new software offers the same functionality as our existing solutions, but with added security features to ensure our network and data are more thoroughly protected.

We are looking for caregivers to join the OneTeam Change Agent Network. Be part of a group of caregivers across the organization who serve as the eyes, ears, and voice of Providence St. Joseph Health, with a focus on the new Modern Workplace Microsoft tools.

As B.J. shared in his note to IS last week, we’re going to focus our next IS Open Forum on a discussion about racial equity and social justice, with an emphasis on listening to caregiver experiences and needs. Last month, we had over 1,800 caregivers join us at the IS Open Forum, so these are always dynamic discussions in conjunction our Yammer group.
