Exec Team Encourages Meeting-Free Election Day, Nov. 3, and to Vote for Health

In the spirit of voter turnout and civic engagement, our executive team is encouraging US-based IS and RESO teams to avoid meetings on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. We know many of you have vote by mail or early voting options we encourage you to use, but this will give any who need a final chance to mail in a ballot or show up at a polling location the opportunity to do so. Please register to vote, know the issues, and familiarize yourself with your state and local voting requirements so you are prepared for November’s election. Every vote counts, as we try to advocate for our belief that health is a human right and that everyone deserves to have the best possible quality of life!

A Productive, Social and Generous End to Summer

IS and RESO teams,

I hope you all had a terrific Labor Day Weekend.

This is the first time we’re including RESO on the distribution of our monthly IS Update. Similar to last week’s Open Forum, I want to be inclusive of both teams in my major communications, even as we continue with mostly separate operations of the two organizations. It was great seeing a larger-than-ever turnout for our Open Forum, inclusive of caregivers in RESO. In the coming months, we’ll assess the opportunities to partner more closely and our cadence of shared communication.
