During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, IS Healthcare Intelligence (HI) launched the Daily Shift Screening (DSS) enterprise application. This app has provided a lightweight, verifiable way to manage caregivers’ symptom self-check surveys required before reporting for work, enhancing both caregiver and patient safety.

As you know, Genesis, our new ERP system for HR, Payroll, Finance and REH, is going live in January 2022. Kronos will also be consolidated into a single instance in December 2021. In addition, the recently-launched Genesis SharePoint site is a helpful resources, including news, detailed timeline and milestone information, and a PowerPoint overview of the program.

At the end of 2020, IS Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) completed a number of projects that are prerequisites to Project Genesis, our ERP program. While currently in the stabilization phase, these projects support our IS strategy of simplifying technology, while enabling growth of the organization toward achieving a Health 2.0 vision.

Microsoft has announced an upcoming change to the location where your Microsoft Teams meeting recordings will be stored. Effective the evening of February 15, 2021, new Teams meeting recordings will now be stored and shared in OneDrive or SharePoint, depending on how the meeting was held, rather than stored in the Microsoft Stream video platform.
