Connecting our Combined Organization

As the EVP of the combined IS & RESO organization, I’m excited about some of the initial ways we are coming together.
As we continue to identify areas where our goals intersect — modernizing our workplace, environmental stewardship, security, growth and affiliations, among others — we will be uncovering more opportunities to partner and augment our combined impact. Much of what is needed for this to happen is for us to get to know each other better, what the different parts of our org are working on and who are the leaders driving it. As part of that, on February 10, I will be joining John Milne, M.D, at the monthly RESO Extended Huddle. That will give me a good chance to hear from core leaders across the many functional areas John’s diverse org, from the real estate strategy, architecture, and engineering sides, to the environmental services and patient transport sides. I want much of that hour with RESO core leaders to be their questions for me.

IS & RESO Rapidly Mobilize SoCal Field Hospital

On the January 7, 2021 IS & RESO Open Forum with our executive leadership, we shared some of the way our combined organization are both continuing to support our COVID-19 pandemic response. One way our teams supported Providence’s readiness for worst-case pandemic scenarios as the virus was surging across Southern California was to construct a 50-bed outdoor, military-style field hospital at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton.
