Kronos Scheduler Go-Live Standardizes Nurse Staffing/Scheduling for Polson

On March 14, 2021, Kronos Workforce Scheduler (WFS) successfully went live for Montana’s Providence St. Joseph Medical Clinic – Polson. Encompassing the scheduling and staffing of four nursing and clinical departments in Polson, go-live support included training and remote support for all schedulers and managers.

New Date: Imprivata Migration to Impact Legacy SJH Application Access on May 11

In preparation for the upcoming Epic rollout at legacy St. Joseph Health ministries, users of St. Joseph Imprivata, the “tap and go” single sign-on application used in clinical environments, will be migrated to the Providence instance of Imprivata.

Decommissioning Legacy Wi-Fi Networks

In early 2021, IS Network Services rolled out a wireless network called ProvidenceCaregiver as the primary standard wi-fi connection for devices managed by IS, as well as personal devices. Now that ProvidenceCaregiver is live at all Providence ministries and locations, we are moving on decommissioning legacy wireless networks, starting with prov.employee and phscorp.

Information Security Makes A Push for Caregivers to Set Up Security Questions & Answers in the IAM Portal

Most of us have set up security questions and answers in the Identity & Access Management (IAM) portal to make it easier for us when calling the AskIT IS Service Desk and having to verify our identity. This means no longer needing to provide the last four digits of their social security number (SSN) or date of birth to verify their identity. Some 80,000 caregivers, mostly clinical ones, have not yet taken this critical step. Starting next week, targeted email communications will be sent every four weeks to caregivers who have not yet set up these security questions and answers.
