In honor of June Pride Month, Providence Global Center in Hyderabad, India marked June 28 as their Pride Day. Caregivers were asked to share their reflections on what Pride means to them and received a memo with helpful resources to educate us on how we can be advocates and allies.

On June 23, IS Healthcare Intelligence (HI) implemented an enterprise data catalog (EDC), which contains an organized inventory of data assets, including the contents of a database, table, or column (technical metadata), the sources of such data, and the dashboards that present that data (data lineage).

The enterprise-spanning Genesis project will replace multiple ERP systems that support back-office activities at Providence for Finance, Supply Chain (REH), and Human Resources (HCM). Legacy PHS and SJH Kronos instances used for timekeeping and scheduling will also be consolidated into a single enterprise-wide instance.

The Genesis team recently achieved a major milestone of completing its second cycle of system integration testing. Upcoming testing milestones are complex and involve converting and testing large volumes of data that includes key HR and pay data for approximately 120,000 caregivers. Based on this, program leadership has determined the need to allocate additional time to complete the Genesis solution, to support our organization’s complex needs and enable our payroll activities. To that end, Genesis go-live will be extended to July 2022.
