Summer is definitely here!

I hope our Oregon and Washington caregivers are doing well after the recent extreme heat wave, and that everyone enjoyed a nice Independence Day and extended holiday weekend.
As we head into the middle of summer, I look forward to our phased transition to more in-person collaboration as outlined in my message to caregivers based in administrative centers on June 9. I appreciate all the work of RESO to reconfigure our office spaces to allow for this new flexible work model and the partnership with IS Administrative Technology and TEO on the platform, tools and standard devices that will support our new model.
Congratulations to Tabitha Lieberman on her HIMSS Most Influential Women in Health IT award! Tabitha is part of an impressive and highly respected slate of global winners, including leaders from government, tech companies, and academia. HIMMS is recognizing Tabitha’s role in making Providence a global leader successfully deploying a single standard EHR and related world-class standard applications. We value Tabitha’s passion and unwavering determination to meet the ambitious goals of our organization for the benefit of our patients and caregivers. This is also a testament to the work of her organization and all other teams who have contributed to so many great achievements, including the most recent Epic upgrade. We are all very proud of your great work.
I’m excited about the second-annual August 31 IS & RESO Virtual Summer Social. Even though many of us are eager for opportunities to gather again in person, the experience of the past year and a half has taught us that this is a great way to come together as one big organization across states, cities, and even continents, with the participation of our PGC caregivers . . .
