Executive Leadership Visits Providence Global Center

IS & RESO executive leadership, B.J. Moore, Rick Stover, Adam Zoller, and Doug Lewis, plus Providence Chief People Officer Kellie Sheldon and extended IS leadership team members visited Hyderabad, India to meet with Providence Global Center (PGC) caregivers from their respective teams and to get to know them better. This was the first leadership team visit after the establishment of the PGC in February 2020.

165 Years Ago Today: Our Pioneering Sisters Arrived in the Washington Territory

On December 8, 1856, our pioneering Sisters arrived in the Washington Territory, after venturing west from Montreal. That year, Sister Joseph called upon all of her gifts and skills, and her deep faith, as she led a group of four Sisters of Providence to the Washington Territory. Their mandate and desire was to care for the poor and the sick, to educate the children, and bring the light of Christ into the lives of all they met.

After months of thoughtful and focused work by a team of cross-functional caregivers and feedback from key stakeholders, an organizational model for Clinical Technology Services was socialized by Chris Briggs, GVP, IS Strategic Technology Enablement (STE), in mid-November. HI Harnesses Power BI CDS for Epic

The IS Healthcare Intelligence (HI) BI Modernization team is developing Power BI Centralized Data Sets (CDS) for Epic EMR users to empower Providence data analytic consumers with standard, self-service reporting. The data sets coming this month will drive Power BI visualizations and pave the way toward modernizing our report portfolio, as we migrate away from our legacy reporting tools.
