Dear RESO Team,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our Environmental Services (EVS) caregivers following a great EVS Week. Your dedication and hard work are vital to our mission, and I was thrilled to see so many ministries hosting local celebrations in your honor. Thank you for everything you do to keep our facilities safe, clean, and welcoming for our patients and caregivers.
This week, I’m delighted to spotlight one of our outstanding EVS caregivers, Leticia Ruiz from Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California. Leticia exemplifies excellence in her role, and her approach to caregiving inspires us all. Her EVS Director, Victor Razo, had this to say about her:
“Leticia is someone who is always happy to see you. Everyone knows her and greets her when she walks down our halls. She has a rare talent of quickly making lasting friendships and always remembers details you share with her. Her picture in this Spotlight exemplifies her personality perfectly. We are blessed to have her on our team, and I count myself lucky to work alongside her.”
Please join me in recognizing Leticia for her exceptional service and commitment. You can read more about her here.
I’m also excited to announce the launch of the new RESOHub! This will be your go-to spot for everything related to RESO. We encourage you to explore the site and share your feedback via this linked survey. Your input is invaluable as we continue to enhance our resources and communication.
Furthermore, I’d like to highlight two remarkable colleagues who have been nominated for the Values in Action award:
- Kedarius Colbert, Director of Planning and Design
- Janet Cosio, Executive Assistant
Kedarius has consistently embodied our core values in his daily interactions. His compassion and empathy were profoundly evident when he joined focus groups with our EVS caregivers. His ability to connect on a personal level facilitated open discussions and reinforced our commitment to respect and dignity for all.
Janet went above and beyond her primary responsibilities by offering her skills as a Spanish-speaking translator during the same focus groups. Her selfless act bridged communication gaps, ensuring all caregivers could fully participate. Janet’s compassion and dedication have significantly enhanced the experience of our caregivers, fostering a supportive community.
Please join me in congratulating Kedarius and Janet on their nominations and thanking them for their outstanding contributions.
As we move forward into the fall season, there’s so much to look forward to within RESO. Let’s continue to support one another and uphold the values that make our organization exceptional.
Thank you for all that you do.
Best regards,
Mike Denney SVP, Chief Real Estate Officer
