We are excited to share a new learning partnership with Microsoft that we can offer our IS caregivers around the cloud and Azure.
We know our IS caregivers are seeking opportunities to expand their knowledge and begin pivoting their skills set into more emerging areas like cloud computing. We also have seen the interest from caregivers in getting a chance to familiarize themselves with new technology and concepts that will help them be more agile and adaptable as we modernize our systems and approaches.
In our June 20 IS Update to all caregivers, we plan to run an overview of the Project AzureEye and the Orangewood pilot underway for how we transition a major PSJH data center to the Microsoft Azure cloud. Complementing that feature will be a new opportunity we’ve partnered with Microsoft Learn to offer that will familiarize our IS caregivers with the cloud and Azure, game-ify the learning experience, and give IS the opportunity to win some cool swag, including Surface gear.
Team members of TEO, HI, and other select caregivers will also be receiving email blasts about this opportunity, so do know that email is official and not spam. The IS Cloud Skills Challenge is open to all of IS, but feel free to promote (or not promote) as appropriate for the priorities of your team and caregivers.
