Last month, we shared a reassuring message with 400+ operational and clinical leaders across our system. IS will be sending approximately 50 percent of our Clinical Informatics caregivers from their home regions to provide on-site support of the Swedish/PacMed Epic go-live in June.
Clinical Informatics support will span the two weeks following June 15 go-live event with CI team members from many different regions on-site to help. We expect to bring in 50 percent of clinical informatics staff from other regions to provide at-the-elbow support for Swedish and PacMed providers and caregivers to enable a good go-live experience.
The CI support plan takes into account critical Information Services projects in progress in all of our regions. These identified projects will not be impacted by the temporary reallocation of CI team members to the Epic go-live.
We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we lend our Swedish and PacMed colleagues the expertise and collective learnings of our CI team. This is a prime example of where the scale of PSJH benefits all of our organizations.
