Dear RESO Caregivers,
I’m pleased to announce that Rachel Jenner has accepted the position of ED Planning & Design to lead the RESO platform supporting our work to create real estate solutions to support our evolving delivery of care model. Rachel will be responsible for developing and managing how we receive strategic objectives and translate that into real estate solutions to support efficient operations and growth. In addition, Rachel will oversee the creation of campus and market portfolio plans, while ensuring that what we build will reflect the Providence and affiliate brands. Rachel has a track record of delivering plans that enhance our operational efficiencies while supporting our Mission. Rachel will report directly to me and her first day will be October 31st.
Prior to this role, Rachel was responsible for the North Division’s Architectural Planning & Design, Space Management, Art Integration, Facilities Construction and the design of the new First Hill Tower, among many other responsibilities. From 2020 – 2023 Rachel was also responsible for guiding Providence Swedish through the use of space during the pandemic and created best in class processes that were replicated by other leading health systems to deal with Covid and the solutions we needed to create an environment to ensure our hospitals, staff and patients were safe.
Rachel will be focused on the continued development of our Planning & Design platform, working closely with our Construction Management team and leaders from Strategic Planning as well as Division and Region Executives. I’m excited to see what we will create to establish Providence as the industry leader in healthcare design and project management. Our ability to drive optimal real estate solutions and ultimately manage our entire portfolio is greatly enhanced with Rachel’s acceptance of this position.
Please join me in congratulating Rachel on her new role.
Mike Denney
