Platform Development
The service line platforms: Construction, EVS, Facilities, Physical Security, Planning & Design, and RESO Operational Excellence have been working diligently to help us function as a consistent RESO team across all three divisions. Each service line platform leader is responsible for leading the councils, communicating progress as we work to Simplify, Modernize and Innovate. Developing our service line platforms will help us drive consistent standards (Simplify), understand where we can benefit from updating systems (Modernize) and seek to leverage the amazing talent of our IS partners to create best practices and processes to support all our teams (Innovate).
Physical Security
In this week’s RESO Update we are happy to share the progress from our Physical Security Platform. The Physical Security Council was established to leverage resources and expertise to improve quality and customer satisfaction, as well as enable faster decision making and the ability to share resources consistently across the regions. The Physical Security team at the System Level has assisted with threat mitigation and professional security advice in regard to 17 plus known threats to Providence caregivers in 2023. Other amazing accomplishments from the Physical Security team below:
2023 Initiative Highlights include: Workplace Violence Training – piloted training delivered by FBI Agent to address Active Shooters. Employee Duress Alarms – Currently conducting system level Request for Information (RFI) for physical wearable alarms. These alarms can be attached to each caregiver and can be configured to call Security, Medical Personnel, 911 and others on shift. These devices are discrete, reliable and easy to test.
Thank you to all the Physical Security team members for keeping our caregivers and patients safe! We appreciate your hard work and dedication.
