The Torrance Outpatient Timeshare project was completed to remodel a PT/OT space that was dark and dated into a fresh, modern clinic space. The new space can now be efficiently shared by multiple doctors. This project was completed with an extremely limited budget and short timeline. The project was led by Maria Pasciuto from RESO and Sherrie Price and Michelle Huck from IS.
The best part is that Maria was able to source about half of the furniture from previously decommissioned projects. A great win financially and an exceptional example for Environmental Stewardship effort of the system. We hope that we can continue to see these efforts to reduce waste and reuse materials.
Planning and Design started in May of this year with lease execution in June. Construction began on August 1 with space opening on September 15, a six-week turnaround! The first doctor started seeing patients on September 15th with more doctors to start in October.
