Every day, IS caregivers go the extra distance to get to the bottom of some pretty complex technical challenges. One such problem familiar to PSJH in California has been slow performance of the EasyPass single sign-on (SSO) solution.
As CMIO and SVP of Clinical Informatics & IS Strategic Partners, Dr. Michael Marino puts it, “When the EasyPass sign-on tool at legacy St Joseph Health works, it is great for making signing on easier for our caregivers. However, it likes to breakdown like an old car.”
Renton-based IS Service Assurance manager, Micah Bickford was determined to get to the bottom of the ongoing EasyPass slowness issues that had plagued St. Joseph Health for years.
Over several months, Micah unraveled the root causes, identifying and resolving eight separate problems that were contributing to the caregivers’ terrible experience.
Dr. Marino himself honored Micah at the recent TEO All Hands meeting for his outstanding performance and lasting contribution in solving issues that had plagued PSJH in California for years.
IS appreciates his contribution to our high-performing operations and we’re sure our California caregivers do, as well. Great work, Micah!
