Reed’s Crossing Wellness Center
This is a multi-specialty building that is over 100k sq. ft. and combines medical services with a fitness program. The building opened on August 6, and the blessing took place on August 24. There will be a community-wide open house at the end of September.
The Reed’s Crossing Community is the largest mixed-use urban community in Oregon’s history, designed to facilitate connectedness, convenience, and an active and healthy lifestyle. Their vision is a community where you can “live your best life.”

Swedish Transfer and Operations Center (STOC)
Opened recently in the Georgetown neighborhood, the Providence Swedish Transfer and Operations Center ensures that every patient receives the right care at the right time and in the right place. STOC performs as the central nervous system within our network of hospitals, capable of monitoring and analyzing the real-time status of every patient and informing how and where to care for new patients on their way.
STOC is equipped with technology for implementing the precise coordination necessary to evolve. GE Tiles works in tandem with our electronic medical records to provide a real-time view of every patient across all 1,500 of our beds.
Another important element is GE Tiles’ predictive analytics capability, which can both minimize inefficiencies and improve care. The system constantly monitors for slight changes in patients’ conditions that could suggest negative trends and alert caregivers early when interventions will be more effective.
