The IS-wide onboarding virtual orientation platform (US/non-PGC) has been redesigned, along with a more streamlined RISE experience and a new “Welcome to IS” email, that makes it clearer what onboarding content is required, what is optional, what is pillar-specific, and what is role-based specific (finance, project management, etc.) for newly-hired caregivers.
What’s new
Newly-hired IS caregivers will receive this welcome email from BJ on their first day:
Learning pathways are now divided into three weeks and will be combined in the OnboardMe application soon. The first two weeks of a caregiver’s virtual IS onboarding focuses on required content, while role-based and pillar-specific learnings (optional learnings) for caregivers in weeks three and four. Pillar-specific onboarding/training will be added as links from RISE to SharePoint sites that each pillar is currently building out.
The goal of these changes is to streamline the IS virtual self-paced orientation to improve the caregiver experience and increase RISE onboarding completion rate from the current 20% to 40% by 2023 Q1.
Starting September 5, IS newly-hired caregivers will receive the new welcome email and redesigned onboarding experience.
