Congratulations to Bert Martin, Jennifer Dumont, and Terri Trobridge from the “MAC” team for their patent application filing of the “Automatic Project Planning, Budgeting, and Tracking Tool” (the Interactive Playbook) with the US Patent and Trademark Office on May 17, 2022.
IS established a formalized patent process in 2020. When a Providence caregiver engages in such development, Providence would like to obtain patents on these developments. Caregivers are encouraged to bring innovative technologies to facilitate the healthcare digital transformation. Patents benefit Providence in protecting intellectual property, but also the caregiver through recognition and compensation.
