Oracle Cloud is replacing the Lawson/ProvConnect, MAS200 and Meditech GL systems that we use today for our financial data when Genesis goes live on July 5.
Using a new, integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system will help us leverage a single source for our financial master data, improve Hyperion Financial Management and consolidate management of financial reporting tools. This will result in changes to financial reporting intake that has been done by Healthcare Intelligence (HI). Make sure your financial reports are ready for the move to Genesis.
Finance now supports all reports that use financial ERP data
If your financial reports use data from the Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) managed by HI, prioritizing needs and solutions for those reports has moved to the Finance leaders of the Genesis Change Agent Network. CDW data typically combines financial data from our current ERP systems with electronic health record (Epic) data.
HI is directing requests for financial reports to the Finance leaders and will continue developing financial reports that use data from the CDW as directed by that group.
Three Tableau dashboards retiring July 5
When Oracle Cloud goes live, the following widely used Vantage reports (Tableau dashboards) will retire:
- DepartmentPL: DepartmentPL – Tableau Server (providence.org)
- Workbook: DepartmentGL (providence.org)
- DailyOperations: DailyOperations – Tableau Server (providence.org)
HI will no longer remediate these reports. Tickets requesting access or fixes to the reports will be closed. HI will provide data to support similar, standard reports that Finance is working on. However, some elements of the Vantage reports may not be available moving forward.
Transition plan needed for all reports that use financial ERP data
Please evaluate how the move to Oracle Cloud and the above changes may affect your financial reports. If your reports use financial data from our current ERP systems, you will need to switch to comparable reports from Oracle Cloud or modify your existing reports to maintain your need.
