HI’s Holiday Mission for Local Families

In the spirit of our Providence Mission and values, the IS Healthcare Intelligence (HI) team gave back to their communities near ministry locations in the Pacific Northwest. They adopted two families to support for the 2021 holiday season.

HI caregivers worked with the Providence Regina House, one of our Mission Ambassador organizations that provides food, clothing, baby supplies, advisory referrals, and other services to those in need in the South Park area of Seattle. Caregivers donated gifts from the “Adopt-a-Family” holiday wish list for a family of seven. Pamela Thurston, executive assistant for HI, coordinated the drive with Regina House and mid-December delivery of an impressive 59 packages!

At the same time in Portland, Lia Southerland, executive assistant for HI, coordinated with Catholic Charities of Oregon, whose mission is to assure that essential, life-saving services and supports are accessible to the most vulnerable Oregonians. The team donated clothing, toys, household items, and other necessities for a refugee family of ten who arrived recently from Afghanistan.

A big thanks and congratulations to Pamela and Lia for helping ease the way for both donors and recipients!
