TEO Technical Services Requests Transition to New Portal Powered by Azure DevOps

TEO technical services has transitioned from the ServiceNow IS to IS generic request form to a new IS Service Request Portal with detailed intake forms for each service.

The new IS Service Request Portal is now available for requesting TEO technical services by IS caregivers.

This new process will NOT impact:

  • ServiceNow requests outside of the IS to IS request process.
  • ServiceNow IS to IS requests for non-TEO assignment groups.
  • ServiceNow incidents and requests.

EUS and the AskIT Service Desk should continue using the appropriate business services within ServiceNow for reporting incidents and requests.

Why is this happening?

This process change, from ServiceNow IS to IS to the IS Service Request Portal allows TEO the ability to implement services faster utilizing Azure DevOps. The ability to utilize sprints, pipelines, and automation will improve collaboration among TEO Teams. This will allow for continuous integration, more prompt delivery, and reduce the amount of back and forth. This new process is the first step in creating self-service solutions for routine requests.

What do I need to do?

When requesting technical services from any TEO pillar, submit your request through the IS Service Request Portal. For portal instructions and additional assistance, refer to the Requests for TEO Technical Services instructions.
