Two critical IS project management tools, IS Project Online (POL) and Azure DevOps (ADO), were integrated on October 21, 2021, improving overall project management, and eliminating duplication of effort in having to enter project data in two applications.
Caregivers working in ADO will be able to receive and update all project tasks assigned from both IS POL and ADO, within their ADO workspace. Similarly, project managers will have the ability to create and update tasks in IS POL and sync those items with ADO. This integration will allow caregivers to work within the primary tool, in which they do most of their work.
Actions for IS projects managers
IS caregivers who manage projects in IS POL and have team members working in ADO need to do the following:
- Review the self service IS POL ADO Integration training modules located on the PM Center of Excellence Training Page
- If you have questions, please attend the IS POL ADO Integration Open Format Q&A sessions. Please refer to the PM Center of Excellence Events Calendar to see the full list of sessions.
- Start syncing IS POL project tasks with ADO.
