October trainings
Join a OneTeam training If you’d like to learn more about Microsoft applications. The October monthly training calendar has our full schedule of classes including Word, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook and Excel. This month we are featuring two new classes:
- Excel: Visualizing with Charts — Bring your data to life! Create just the right chart with just the right data in minutes.
- Shifts: Getting Started — Microsoft Shifts is a powerful scheduling tool that is available in Teams. Shifts can be used to create, update and manage a team schedule.
New Microsoft features
There is a new way to organize your items in Outlook on the web with the calendar board view. It can help you better manage your most important tasks and events. Think of the board as a visual planner that you can design however you like by adding and moving your calendars, task lists, sticky notes, links, goals and reminders.
- Now you can set a default for opening Office files in Teams. This new feature allows users to set a default of browser, desktop or Teams when opening Office files (Word, Excel, and Power Point) that are shared in Teams.
- Quoted reply allows you to select a specific message in a Microsoft Teams group chat that you want to include in your response. It is a great way to add context and clarity by referencing the message to which you are replying.
See Microsoft Features and Product Updates for more information about these features and other product enhancements.
