RESO continues its partnership with the Brand Unification team on the planning and coordination of the signage installation at each ministry and lines of business. New signage has begun installation in Alaska and Eastern Washington. RESO has been working closely with facilities, nursing administration, security, and other impacted departments to ensure minimal impacts to patient care, operations of the facility and tenants.
Close planning and coordination are required with nursing administration to schedule and block patient rooms, so the electrical for the signs can be safely installed. In the medical office buildings, RESO coordinates and plans the work with the assistance of CBRE’s property managers to gain access into the tenant spaces after hours to install the electrical for the new signs, thereby not affecting the tenants during their normal business hours.
In the Alaska Region, the installation of the new Providence logo and signage kicked off at the beginning of August. Working in partnership with Glacier Sign and Lighting, Inc., John Bush, senior design and construction manager, and Crystal Upton, program support specialist, have completed the new signage projects at St. Elias Specialty Hospital and Providence Alaska Medical Center (PAMC) in Anchorage, Alaska.
Installation of the signage will continue at PAMC until the end of this year and the installation at the Alaska’s critical access hospitals Providence Valdez Medical Center, Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center and Providence Seward Medical Center will occur in August, September and November, respectively, with the LOB signage installations beginning September of this year and finishing up March of 2022.
The brand update has been kicked off in Stevens County, Washington, beginning with Providence Mount Carmel Hospital. John Shaw, senior design and construction manager, along with Stratus Unlimited, are working in tandem with Baldwin Sign Company. Baldwin is providing boots on the ground performing the preparation work and installs
Further, pylon and monument signs throughout the campuses are also being replaced or refreshed with new sign panels and paint. All identifying entry and directional signs and vinyl are also being replaced, resulting in a completely new look for each campus.
“Excellent attention to detail has led to a great result that Providence can be proud of. The community will certainly note the positive changes,” Eric Rodgers, manager facilities, Stevens County.
