IS LAIP Goal for 2019 MUST be ONE of the Four or Five Goals Entered by March 25

In the 2019 LAIP overview we shared in this week’s IS Update for core leaders, we share some of the changes to our management performance payout plans that we ask those who are eligible for LAIP in 2019 review. With the shift to the LAIP model of awarding pay for performance, LAIP-eligible core leaders will have up to five goals that they enter in SuccessFactors by EOB, Monday, March 25.

Two to three of these goals will be unique to the leader’s own contributions—stretch goals that their personal work or their team’s work drives. Another goal you enter may be a goal that your IS VP+ leader or functional leader sets, so talk to your core leader or skip-level about one for your broader group. It is critical that LAIP-eligible management should discuss their goals with the key leaders in the coming weeks. One of the five goals that ALL LAIP-eligible core leaders must enter in their SuccessFactors LAIP goals form will be the following shared goal for across all IS:

In support of the PSJH Health 2.0 strategy and our vision of Health for a Better World, IS is establishing a shared 2019 LAIP goal for all eligible IS core leaders of: Ending the year at, or better than, the 2019 IS EBIDA operating budget target of $533.2 million. With 2019’s IS budget mapping directly to our agenda of transformational initiatives supporting Health 2.0, our budget is both operational and strategic. Meeting our budget is critical to sustaining our Mission and delivering value for the system’s investments in digital enablement across PSJH.

[LAIP-eligible core leaders should copy-paste this goal directly into the SuccessFactors form.]

While the individual two or three of the 2019 LAIP goals entered by eligible management will be the most critical component for evaluating the 2019 performance of our LAIP-eligible core leaders, we still have an overarching, shared IS goal to hit, that must be included in what is entered into the LAIP forms in 2019 by all IS caregivers.
