Program managers from the IS Growth and Affiliates attended an ice cream celebration hosted by the Healdsburg Change Agent Network during the recent Healdsburg Hospital email migration event in northern Sonoma County, California.
Healdsburg Hospital became secular affiliate with Providence when the hospital, along with Petaluma Valley Hospital, were acquired by the newly-formed NorCal HealthConnect LLC, in January 2021. The email migration event is just one piece of the IS integration program activities.
Darian Harris, exec. director of acute care operations, NorCal HealthConnect shared in a recently-published article that “…the many months of hard work, strategic planning, and execution that our IS and IT teams have invested in this process have resulted in a smooth transition and a soft, successful landing.”
Harris, in reference to the email migration, also shared:
“This milestone has already strengthened the relationship between the Petaluma Valley and Healdsburg teams by giving both groups greater collaboration tools such as Providence email addresses, calendaring, and Microsoft teams. We are grateful for all their efforts, their strong demonstration of working as a highly effective team, and celebrated together with an ice cream social on Tuesday.”
The celebration to mark this email migration milestone of the affiliation work was fun for all.
