Snohomish County Caregivers Support Clare’s Place Supportive Housing for Families

As Sister Susanne Hartung shared on our March 24, IS & RESO Open Forum, we are excited to have new caregiver Mission Ambassador leads for our Mission service partnerships in Spokane, WA, supporting the local YWCA, and now in Snohomish County, the area north of King County, WA and Seattle.

Providence Snohomish County Mission Ambassadors recently partnered with Clare’s Place in Everett, so that we may do our part in community service.

Clare’s Place provides 65 units of permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless and vulnerable households in Snohomish County. Catholic Community Services of Western Washington provides the supportive services to the residents, with a focus on long-term stability. It provides another housing choice for chronically homeless households that have difficulty finding and qualifying for housing in the private market and that are seeking a supportive community.

As Clare’s Place says, “We walk with our residents, inviting them to direct their energy and gifts toward the experiences and the issues that have contributed to their life challenges, and to move to an improved and more stable living situation.”

On Thursday, March 25, a lunchtime information session was held on the topic of Chronic Homelessness in Snohomish County and how we may partner in Mission service with Clare’s Place to help them through their community services and outreach programs.
