Introducing Genesis to All Caregivers

As you know, Genesis, our new ERP system for HR, Payroll, Finance and REH, is going live in January 2022. Kronos will also be consolidated into a single instance in December 2021.

Although IS caregivers have known about Genesis for some time, we’ll formally introduce Genesis to the broader caregiver population for the first time later in Q1 2021. This will mark an important milestone for the program, as we build more excitement around Genesis. Please keep an eye out for messages on Genesis in core leader newsletter in February and caregiver newsletter in March. In addition, check out the brand-new Genesis SharePoint site for more information and resources, including news, detailed timeline and milestone information, and a PowerPoint overview of the program.

What’s new with Genesis since our last update?

At the end of last year, we finished our prototyping sessions. We held 80 workshops and demonstrated 1,000+ real-life HR, REH and Finance scenarios in the new system. The feedback we received in these prototyping sessions is being used to finalize the design of the new system.

What’s coming next?

With prototyping complete, the next major Genesis milestone is systems integration testing (SIT), which begins in mid-February 2021. This is when we will validate that Genesis works as it should and connects to other systems properly.

Kronos will also move forward with SIT in mid-February, after completing interface testing, which began in January.
