On November 30, 2020, we are sunsetting legacy Skype meeting and conference service accounts. These include accounts such as disaster recovery, mission-critical, and/or maintenance bridge lines, etc.
Once all Skype meeting and conference service accounts are sunset, Skype will be disabled, and caregivers will no longer have the ability to schedule or attend meetings through these Skype accounts. Caregivers can still attend external Skype meetings.
If you need to schedule a disaster recovery, mission-critical, or maintenance bridge line–type meeting, you may do so through one of the following options:
- Recurring meetings, with fewer than 300 attendees, may utilize a caregiver’s individual Teams account. All recurring meetings must include an end date on the meeting invite, which can be updated as needed. See our guide on how to schedule meetings in Teams.
- Meetings with more than 300 attendees can be scheduled by contacting CTS. There are two meeting options available:
- Large meeting Hosted by CTS via a service account
- Teams Live Event – Enables caregivers to broadcast video and meeting content to a large online audience. This meeting format is a one-to-many communication, with the host of the event leading the interactions. Audience participation is primarily to view the content shared by host. Attendees can interact with the presenters using a moderated Q&A chat.
