Self-Service Network Password Management

Information Services is making it easier for caregivers to reset their network password and unlock their accounts by themselves with the self-service network password management tool. By proactively setting up Security Questions and Answers today, you’ll save time and frustration if you get locked out of your account and/or need to quickly change your password in the future.

What do I need to do?

In order to be able to reset their passwords or unlock a locked account on their own, caregivers will need to set up and manage their Security Questions and Answers at https://iam.providence.org. (This requires connection to the PSJH network in the office or via VPN.)

After setting up the five Security Questions and Answers, if you forget your password, you no longer have to contact the IS Service Desk for assistance. The system will prompt you for the answers to all authentication questions associated with your account and you will be able to reset your password.

If you do need to contact the IS Service Desk, your Security Questions and Answers will be utilized for identity verification.

Who can use the tool?

All Providence St. Joseph Health caregivers need to establish their Security Questions and Answers. If you were hired at Providence in 2018 or later, you have already gone through this process when your access was initially provisioned and are set.

When can I use the tool?

The tool is available now at https://iam.providence.org (This requires connection to the PSJH network in the office or via VPN.)
