Ben Myers Promotion, Division Chief Real Estate Officer – Central Division

The below message was shared by Mike Denney in September.

I’m excited to announce that after serving for the last 4 months as the interim leader, Ben Myers has been officially promoted to the Division Chief Real Estate Officer for the Central Division. Ben will be responsible for a real estate portfolio of more than 25 million square feet across our Oregon, Eastern Washington, Montana, Texas, and New Mexico regions. He will be accountable for central division real estate strategy and operations, design, construction, acute and non-acute facilities, environmental services, safety, and security. Ben will report directly to me, effective immediately.

Ben has been a leader at Providence for more than nine years. In 2019, Ben joined RESO as a Regional Director based at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he successfully led operations, facilities management, environmental services, physical security, and construction management in Montana and Eastern Washington. In 2022, he was promoted to Executive Director, growing his regional oversight and driving standardization and operational efficiencies.

Ben also serves as the interim platform leader of our RESO Facilities Council and is the current State President of the Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering (WSSHE).

Although we had a large number of applicants for this position from many of the leading healthcare organizations across the country, it became clear during the process that Ben is the right leader for this role. His leadership has been crucial in the successful delivery of many initiatives at Providence and Ben is a role model for our values and commitment to our Mission.

Ben’s former Executive Director position will be posted soon. I want to thank Ryan Walters for agreeing to serve as the interim RESO Executive Director for EWA/MT while we go through the formal process of backfilling Ben’s previous role.

I also appreciate Ben’s willingness to serve as the interim DCREO and look forward to his continued great leadership as we support the Central Division and deliver on our Mission. Please join me in congratulating Ben on his new role.

Mike Denney
