Hello RESO team,
I want to acknowledge the issues caused by the CrowdStrike outage that have impacted many organizations globally. The Providence IS team has responded by standing up Tech Bar locations throughout different Ministries and sites to ensure you receive the support you need. They will be open today until 8PM local time and can be viewed here. Thank you for your patience and resilience as we navigate these challenges.
As a quick reminder, the Caregiver Experience Pulse Survey will be closing this week. If you haven’t had the chance to complete it yet, please take the opportunity to share your feedback – it only takes a few minutes and it’s very important. You can access the survey by opening the email from: survey@mail.us1.glintinc.com in your inbox. Your input is invaluable and helps us continue to improve Providence and ensure we’re on the right track.
I’m excited to spotlight one of our incredible caregivers this week, Edith Madrigal de Andrade. Edith has been an exemplary member of our team, and I encourage you all to read about her journey and contributions.
I’m also thrilled to announce some significant accomplishments within RESO. Stacia Rivera, Senior Director, Security, has been recognized as a finalist in the Puget Sound Business Journal 2025 Health Care Heroes Awards for her outstanding work in safety, security, and workplace violence. This is a testament to her dedication and the high standards she upholds. Thank you, Stacia for your dedication to making our organization a great place to work while helping caregivers feel safe.
Additionally, I want to highlight the exceptional efforts of several security team members across RESO: Nathan Paul, Senior Security Officer, Cole Gengo, Security Officer out of Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana and Christopher Harris, Security Officer from Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Oregon. Their recent acts of compassion and excellence have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, caregivers, and members of their communities. Thank you for embodying the values of Providence in your daily work. I encourage you to read their stories in this week’s edition or RESO Excellence and continue sharing stories from your colleagues.
Your dedication and hard work are what make Providence a great place to work and receive care. Thank you for all you do.
Best,
Mike Denney
