A Note from Mike – March 19, 2024

Dear RESO team,

I want to take a moment to reflect on Women in Construction Week, which took place earlier this month. This annual event celebrates the invaluable contributions of women in our industry and highlights their achievements and leadership roles. We are fortunate to have incredibly talented women on our team, and I want to express my gratitude for their dedication and hard work. As we continue to focus on developing a more diverse leadership team, I look forward to the results we will achieve in support of our Mission.

I am also pleased to announce the release of dedicated MBF (maintenance/break/fix) capital to move forward on 138 projects, focusing on the needs of non-acute clinics. This initiative reflects our commitment to improving our sites to better serve our communities in space that reflects our brand and supports our caregivers. The 2024 investment is significantly more than we’ve been able to commit in recent years, which is a direct result of everyone’s hard work to hit our budgets.

In addition, I would like to inform you about an upcoming open forum in NorCal scheduled for April. More details will be provided soon, and I encourage everyone to participate as it will be an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and share insights.

I want to extend a special recognition to Tyler Steele, Maintenance Supervisor, Codi Allen, Project Manager, and Dale Rahn, Executive Director, Real Estate Operations, for their swift response to a pressure failure at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. Their quick actions ensured the safety of our patients and staff, allowing Kodiak’s medical team to perform an emergency c-section while RESO worked to resolve the issue. Their dedication and professionalism are truly commendable. You can read more about their actions and story here.

Lastly, I want to remind everyone of the upcoming email retention deadline. On March 28, Outlook messages older than 2 years will be deleted as part of our email retention policy. Please take the necessary steps to ensure important emails are archived appropriately. More information on this policy and how to archive your emails can be found here.

Thank you all for your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our mission. Together, we will continue to make a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Mike Denney
