Dear Team,
As we start the new year, we have many exciting projects and some great initiatives to look forward to. In the North Division, construction of the First Hill North Tower has started in Seattle. In the South Division, planning for Mission Viejo Hospital Tower 3 has moved forward to the Schematic Design phase. In the Central Division, Hope Tower is preparing to welcome its first patients in the coming weeks. The platform Councils (Planning & Design, Construction Management, Facilities, EVS, Security and Real Estate) all have multiple initiatives underway or ready to launch. 2024 will be another challenging year in a string of challenging years, but I’m optimistic that the things we’ve accomplished and the programs we are focused on will support our teams better and allow us to continue to support the Mission of Providence.
Although we’re already focused on what we need to accomplish in 2024, it’s important to reflect on the things you all accomplished in 2023. It was a year of big change and challenges, but I hope you allow yourself to pause and celebrate the achievements of last year as RESO adapted to support the evolution of Providence. Please take the time to read through the RESO 2023 Year End Review and celebrate the amazing work going on across the system. Here’s a link to a placemat of our RESO 2023 Year End Review.
Every day I hear amazing examples of ways the RESO team is succeeding as we build, maintain, operate and improve the stable and safe environments we manage for our patients, visitors and fellow caregivers. I understand how much work goes into making things right and thank you for doing everything we can to make sure Providence is the best place to work and receive care. As you think about members of your team who go above and beyond, please take a minute to recognize them through RESO Excellence. I always look forward to seeing who gets nominated and appreciate the opportunity to recognize our caregivers and their dedication to doing great things for Providence.
