This year, RESO was able to help Providence drive towards its goal of being carbon negative by 2030.
Recent efficiency initiatives in environmental stewardship include:
- Chilled water flow control advancements by PAMC and others.
- LED retrofit projects in the CA Region and Swedish facilities, covering multiple sites.
- Water conservation efforts underway in the Oregon Region.
- Waste optimization initiatives, such as Covenant Medical Center’s compost program, St. Patrick Medical Center’s trash dumpster pickup optimization, and PAMC’s Furniture Reuse Program.
- Sacred Heart Medical Center creatively utilizing hospital central chiller spare capacity for BTU Bombers & Doctor’s Pavilion instead of replacement.
- Nitrous Oxide Piped System deactivation progressing in St. Vincent, St. Patrick, Willamette Falls, Milwaukie, Portland, with plans for other divisions.
- Window efficiency improvements at Medford Medical Center.
- Building Controls Modernization at Holy Family Hospital.
- Implementation of Tesla Battery Storage & Resiliency System at Eureka & Redwood facilities.
