After years of planning and preparation, the Swedish First Hill expansion project will be moving forward with construction on an accelerated timeline. Cranes will begin to arrive on campus in early 2024.
Construction on the 12-story North Tower is the first phase and will feature state-of-the-art environments for patients and caregivers featuring advanced operating suites, a new emergency department, ICU beds, imaging facilities and more. The North Tower is projected to open during the fall of 2027.
