Providence RESO in the Spotlight

Providence RESO is becoming known as the team to emulate by health systems and a growing number of Fortune 100 companies! Today’s article showcases how Providence RESO is being represented at many real estate and healthcare industry events.

Mike Denney represented Providence at the ‘Advancing Building Delivery’ symposium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Corporate Real Estate Leaders from Common Spirit, Mayo Clinic and Brigham Mass General, plus Amazon, Meta, Google and other Fortune 100 companies were there to brainstorm best and future practices. The workshop was led by Martin Frasier, Director of the Institute for Engineering at Stanford. Martin is nationally recognized as a leader of innovation related to project delivery.

Providence was also showcased at the Pacific Northwest Healthcare Conference hosted by Bisnow which drew over 400 live attendees in Seattle! The conference focused on exploring advancements, development challenges, behavioral health needs, sustainability initiatives and future-proofing facilities. Mike Denney represented Providence on several topics including our approach to strategic planning, how RESO is supporting Providence to fulfill our Mission and what we’re focused on in the next 5 years. Dr. Elizabeth Wako, interim President & CEO Swedish Health Services also presented on healthcare in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Wako discussed trends, challenges and opportunities as we focus on building a resilient healthcare ecosystem to support our communities.

Mike Denney also represented Providence for the capstone session of a national MasterClass on Portfolio Management in October with Kathy Blessington, the global real estate leader for Coca Cola. The students in this class are future real estate leaders from Chevron, the Province of British Columbia, Exxon, Meta, Google, Travelers, Southern California Edison and other large corporations. There were no health systems represented in this class, but it was a great opportunity to build future leaders and create a pipeline of corporate real estate experts we can recruit to the healthcare sector in the future.

Lastly, on October 31 CBRE hosted a client Focus Forum with the goal of gaining insights on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is impacting corporate real estate and how it may impact the delivery of care, portfolio optimization, facilities management and more. Mark Premo, Chief Data Officer, and Mike Denney represented Providence on this national healthcare panel to discuss the opportunities presented by AI and how Providence is leveraging technology to improve operations and strategic planning to manage our real estate portfolio.

Keep your eyes out on how RESO Providence continues to lead the way with unwavering determination, innovation and excellence.
