Every day, we make an extraordinary impact in the lives of our patients, providing the vital care and support that keeps our community healthy.
Mike Denney, GVP, RESO is passionate about the value of philanthropy and recently encouraged the RESO team to become part of a special group at Providence — leaders, providers and caregivers who give to the Providence Foundations to help them support our Mission. The intent is not to measure how much any individual contributes to the Foundations, but rather that we all recognize that participation in philanthropy should be part of our culture. Any amount is truly helpful and can make a profound impact for our patients when combined with everyone else’s contribution. Will you join us in supporting our Providence National Foundation philanthropy?
As a not-for-profit, Providence depends on philanthropy to support our greatest needs. Under this difficult economic climate, philanthropic support is even more important as we continue to serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
Over 200 of you on our RESO team already give to Providence Foundations. You know who you are—thank you for your generosity and leadership!
There are many reasons why you may choose to give to Providence. You and your family may have received excellent care as a patient. Making a gift is a way to say thank you to the doctors and caregivers that cared for you.
- You may recognize that philanthropy is part of our culture and participation at any level reflects your desire to be part of the team that gives.
- You and your family may have received excellent care as a patient. Making a gift is a way to say thank you to the doctors and caregivers that cared for you and support their treatment of other people’s families in the future.
- You may want to invest in a specific fund, like a clinical trial or cutting-edge technology, which could help save the life of a friend or family member.
Whatever your personal “why”, your gift makes an impact. You can direct your giving to many different programs, including patient care, supporting our fellow caregivers in times of emergency or you can choose to contribute to unrestricted funds, which allows the Foundations to allocate support to the greatest need of a Ministry. These programs would not be possible without support from dedicated caregivers like you.
Your giving is critical to our work and success as a team and it’s also tax-deductible.
The process for giving is very quick and easy and can be as little as $5 or whatever you are comfortable contributing. The amount you give will not be reviewed by anyone in RESO – we will only be reviewing the percentage of our team that is participating. You can make your gift via payroll here. You can make a one-time gift here.
Thank you for your consideration and for always bringing your very best to Providence!
