Healthcare Intelligence (HI) has added data from Kronos and Genesis in the Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) for internal data analytics and reporting needs. Since this data includes caregivers’ personally identifiable information (PII), HI has restricted its access to developers and users with justifiable need and appropriate authorization. This restriction has been in effect since this PII became available when the HI CDW Update for the Genesis project was completed on July 18, 2022.
Affected Users
If you are a data analytics consumer or developer who needs access to PII in the CDW, please ensure you have the following information before submitting a request:
- Who are the caregivers needing access?
- What is the business justification; why do you need access?
- What reporting levels will you use (for example: ministry, department, division, enterprise)?
- What database schema and tables do you need to access?
Steps to Request Access
- Log in to IS ServiceNow and click Browse Services.
- Select the Access category and click PII Access Requests for CDW.
- Complete the form.
- Click
for more information about what to enter in the box. - When done, click Request.
The PII access request is assigned to the HI Data Governance and Data Quality team. They work with the data stewards to gather documentation and approvals. Once approved, the request is forwarded to HI DataOps to grant access.
