[The following article was shared with core leaders as a memo from RESO GVP (and Interim North Division Leader), Mike Denney, on Sept. 21, 2022.]
I’m writing to share an update about important initiatives that are currently underway to create standard business platforms across our organization. With our restructuring to three divisions, we are in a perfect position to drive efficiency and improvement by developing and formalizing our business platforms, thereby continuing our objective to Simplify, Modernize and Innovate.
Each of our service lines — Facilities, EVS, etc. — will have a platform to support our teams. Elements of the platforms will include standardized policies and procedures, shared best practices, KPIs and metrics, as well as the governance required to support operations. As these platforms are created, we will be able to leverage resources to improve quality and customer satisfaction, as well as enable faster decision making and the ability to share resources consistently across Providence.
We are launching workstreams being driven by groups of internal subject matter experts from across RESO to ensure the platform takes the best of what we have and leverages our talented team. I know we have many great processes – this is about making sure they are collected, refined and easy to access from a central location. At the end of the day, it will make things easier for our teams, mitigate risk and create more time for innovation.
Here is a broad summary of the workstreams underway. Each of these workstreams will be providing updates in the weeks ahead as we target completion by year end.
I’m excited to see our teams engaged in these important initiatives to take RESO into the future with a focus on consistency and continuous improvement. Thank you in advance for your support and participation in this important work. I look forward to providing updates as we progress through year end.
