The road to full IS integration between Pacific Medical Centers (PacMed) and our Providence IS standards has been a long journey! To celebrate continued progress toward full technology integration, the IS MAC (Mergers, Acquisitions & Major Construction) team marked the occasion with cupcakes for PacMed caregivers to honor the milestone of the February 25, 2022 completion of their email migration.
The PacMed email migration impacts about 800 of their caregivers and represents about 50 percent completion of the full PacMed tech integration. The PacMed partnership with IS toward full integration to IS standards has faced several years of starts and stops, so this key junction had to be celebrated!

- Up next: Z: Drive folder migration to Teams or SharePoint, followed by personal F: Drive file migration
- Later in 2022: Full Microsoft cloud applications suite, access to Providence-wide apps, new workstations, phone system, and more.

Your support has been awesome during our VPN and Email migrations.
Next we’ll be moving our files into the cloud – first Z: Drive folders to Teams or SharePoint, then later our personal F: Drive files.
After that, we’ll get the full suite of Microsoft Apps in the cloud, access to Providence-wide applications, new computer workstations, phone system and more. All this will bring us together with Providence using all the most modern tools.
